Stay
Dear grimoire,
How quickly time passes when we are subject to it... I remember when I was a shapeless, indistinct drop in the ocean that is the Primordial Void. I felt time passing, but I never felt jaded by this sensation. In fact, I felt nothing at all, simply observing worlds being born and dying.
Those memories will have to wait a little longer. So, on the contrary, let us rejoice, dear grimoire, for it has now been two years since your pages began to fill with esoteric knowledge for the general or informed public.
As mentioned earlier, time flies. Let us now see the results of Doctor Astrid's good work.

Chapter - Sleepygryph (Writting)
Astrid stood in front of the twin ogres' observation bay, her arms crossed. Eteranea accompanied her, as the human was not always comfortable walking alone in the corridors without the moral support of the fire mage. The Owlverlord stood beside them, its mask floating above its black mass. The twins had almost fully recovered, with only a few scratches remaining despite the horrific torture inflicted by Roham. Physically, they were in perfect health; the dragon eggs (NSFW) had worked wonders.
-It seems your “favour” is coming to an end.
-It would appear so, Doctor.
-And what will happen after that?
-You will be free to use one of the alchemical ingredients if you wish to stay. If you wish to leave, you will undergo a painless procedure to forget what mere mortals cannot bear, in order to reintegrate into your environment.
-And if I want to leave but not forget?
-A bold choice. If that is your decision, so be it.
-Except that's not what I want.
The mask turned to her, feigning attentive behaviour. Eteranea remained silent but was surprised by this exchange between them.
-I would like to stay here, as a human, until I find a new flat, since you ruined my relationship and my home with your scheming.
-And what service would you offer in exchange?
Astrid swallowed, she hadn't thought of that.
-None, Eteranea replied curtly.
-Pardon?
-You understood me perfectly well, old owl. We all know that you manipulated her indirectly to bring her here and you ruined her life. So you'll do me the favour of keeping her safe and unharmed until she gets back on her feet, or else you'll have me to deal with.
The pyromancer stared at the shadow without flinching. The mask stared back at her in silence, pondering the ultimatum.
-So be it.
Astrid wanted to thank Eteranea for her gesture, but she stopped her.
-Go see the ogres quickly, doc, I'll deal with the feather duster.
They waited for the doctor to return to the room where the twins were resting.
-But this will count as the human soul you've spared this month, Eteranea.
Also, fine writing!
