Carpal Tunnel: Pushed my wrist too far, I have to slow down
a month ago
It's what it says! I've perhaps been spending too much time drawing Yurnic Kobolds for my own good and for that, while I was working on The Long Tail comic for Sunday I lost feeling in my hand and the pain in my wrist has gotten too much. I am pushing too far, I need to slow down.
So here's what the plan is.
I am uploading page 20 of TLH tomorrow! With no upload Sunday, I need to give my wrist time to rest. If my wrist feels better I'll try and knock out The Long tail comic and a TLH comic next week, if not, then it will only be TLT.
I desperately need to rest my wrists, I've been pushing them way too hard for months and consequences are hammering in hard. I hope you folks understand
be well.

Need to go call hospital myself since I've been dealing wizh chest pains which tamper wizh my breazhing since July. Kinda been postponing zhat constantly...
Rest up, get well soon. TLT and TLH will come out when zhey do.
I know how annoying being unable to follow a schedule is, just look at my Youtube.
You too zho dear. Hope your hand heals up well and good <3
I use a roller-mouse whenever I can, and it has helped a lot. Mouse is basically only for gaming.
I bet you'd be able to think of a clever solution, like spend a 2 days on drawing, and then 1 day on doing dialogue/lore/text editing that could be done with dictation or something like that. Just to give your wrist a break. Hope you feel better soon.
The comics are on a 3 day cycle. One day for sketching, one for inking and blocking and one the rest.
So aside from looking for jobs. 6 days a week I spend 2-5 hours per day working on comics. Admitting it there is also a hefty burnout on The Long Hike and the setting as a whole. I plan after the end of the next chapter to take a somewhat longer break to get my life in order. But I want TLH to be at a good point to stop for a bit
In any case thanks! Hoping to start up Monday on The Long Tail and get back to full production the following week
