I've yet to come across anyone praising the dude, more that they're surprised it happened.
I'm with you 100% but the guy was asking for it. Keep preaching violence and violence will find it's way to you.
I have absolutely no sympathy for these mouth pieces that constant prod for violence from the other side and want nothing but a excuse to act on it.

There haven't been too many saying he's a great man, but I have seen it from members of the community.

Mostly it's people forcing others to mourn the death. It starts with a post saying something like "We don't glorify death, I don't want to associate with you if you celebrate this" and almost always say "I'm not political!"

They'll provide examples of people just posting Kirk's own quotes, or I'll ask if they consider indifference as celebration.

They'll either say yes, or they'll give a hostile reply saying something about "the left being too violent"

The left being violent rhetoric always flips a red flag for me, because it's objectively not true and usually disproves their "not political" claim. You only get that opinion by being fed the narrative from right wing news sources. On top of that, there is still no confirmation the shooter was left wing, so why are they running with that narrative if they supposedly have no political bias?

Sure, there are individuals who spew violent rhetoric on the left, but it's so infrequent and I can't think of a single elected Democrat official doing it, meanwhile there are so many Republicans and THE PRESIDENT who are calling for executions.

Record timing, as the shooter turned out to be a mormon, raised in a republican household and used a simple hunting rifle. But it doesn't fit the narrative of the right, so their calls of redemption suddenly stop.
That's cause we are in a twilight zone episode. The real enemy is the rich who keep pitting us to see our current situation as a political issue when actually they pay and play both sides. The right indulge in it, but both parties are equally guilty, as the left constantly ignore our calls for a change.

The worst part is the "I'm not political" and "I don't want to debate" being short for "My beliefs are offensive, and I don't want to defend them"

I doubt any of these people who denounced the "Left wing violence" are going to turn around and denounce the right wing violence.

It's just so disheartening to see people from this community have so much hate for the people they surround themselves with instead of focusing on the actual problems, or truly just staying out of things. This whole thing just put a massive spotlight on the worst people, which I guess it's good to see them for who they are, but it just sucks to learn that about them.

I agree with you there, now the time to take a stand, not hide behind the fear of repercussion. It just shows who is wiling to stand by their convictions and not just say what is popular.
If anything I've learn from this community is that it's easy to say words to rise to the top, but it's when push comes to shoves shows people who they really are.
