It's always a treat to see your work pop up!
The USA is in a recession right now, as much as the top doesn't want to admit it, which is likely what's affecting sales so much on the english speaking side. Those dont normally last more than a year or two so it will end eventually...
It's not you or the stuff you do being bad at all. It's factors outside of anyone's control right now. YOU are amazing and you need to remember that <3
You can always improve, yes. But don't forget how far you've gotten. It's not like others have experienced your personal journey as an artist to appreciate the efforts taken.
Hopefully you can hit some stride in gaining regular business to keep your passion going.
I think its just finances and the current way life is for a lot of people. Its definitely that way for me.
Keep going, sending hugs!
You grew up speaking Español, and the same with typing...So English is not much of a strong suit when you explain to people (Sometimes it's better if the artist typed it in their own language, and then I put it into some google/bing translator just to see what they say, and then type my response in my native language).
That's number one, Number two...
Sorry to see you going through this Tomek1000. Any other job outside of artwork is very rough. And with the living conditions in first world countries, not just third world countries, going through some sort of money instability issues and people just trying to get through with life, despite the headaches, worries, and political issues going on this year, it's not a shock to see you end up this way (considering you've mentioned it many, many times in the past how much this art job means to you. But yet, it's hard to find people willing to fork over a good hundred dollars or more/less, just to make artwork and not end up on the streets.
Wherever you may go outside of this last journal, I hope what you do in your case goes well (even if it's a massively scary change for you to have to deal with).
Take it easy out there Tomek1000.
Plus if it's a matter of how well the artist gig thing is going, just know it's most likely not your skill. Everyone's hurting, there's a lot of competition, and it's not like art is known for it's high yield monetarily. Even the "greats" had a difficult time getting work.
