Subject Matter 749: Gulaetyra

Shalom, dear reader. Draw near and hear what I have to say today.
Thirteenth day of the twelfth month, time fifteen-hundred. Iorrwel, Sovereign of Wildfire Forest, as observer and note-taker concerning Subject Matter Seven-Four-Nine, the entity known as Gulaetyra. The subject is being held in a secure and undisclosed location. The manner of the subject's confinement and those who guard her are classified, and not to be recorded, so as to keep the subject from breaking containment. Due to the nature of the wards, locating the subject through magical means is not possible, even for one such as I who has studied the nature and applications of arcana for a few centuries.
The subject typically appears as a Yutyrannus with a stature and frame negligibly larger than a tyrannosaurus. Despite her brown and tan downs, the subject is an expert in stealth, using this to be an ambush hunter. The true nature of the subject is a Lizardfolk of a similar musculature and appearance whom stands at a height comparable to half-giants and Dragonborn. Typical analysis have born no fruit as to her origins nor the particulars of her birth, the reasoning to this, as discovered through fifth-level divination magic, is the subject having devoured her entire clan shortly after becoming an Arch-druid. Through research, it has been learned the subject was a member of the clans found in the jungles on the southern kingdom of the continent, homeland also of the Elves. These clans revere the largest of dinosaurs as sacred aspects of the divine, and each has tamed at least one that clan favors. These clans rely on druids to commune with both these creatures and the divine, and the subject was selected to succeed the dying druid of her clan. Through bribery, the subject revealed she desired to ascend to the highs of the giants the other clans had tamed, as her clan could not tame anything larger than a Yutyrannus. She made a deal with "a spirit" to gain great power, resulting in her becoming an Arch-druid in a sort amount of time.
Analysis and research has determined the identity of the spirit to be a demon of gluttony, whom has since merged with the subject. This explains the subject's unusual size as a Yutyrannus, the second stomach, insatiable appetite, and unnatural ability to consume an amount of material equal to her own size category without bursting. This is most certainly what allowed the subject to cause entire village populations to disappear overnight in areas where she was spotted from a distance. The merging has also caused both entities to lose knowledge of who they both used to be, save for the name the Subject received from their tribe of Lizardfolk. Now the subject has the single-minded pursuit to consume any living thing she can get her jaws around. To be swallowed alive for many is a grim fate, worse to find one's self in the second stomach. This one is not used for digestion, but rather as a form of storage so the subject can go even longer without needing to hunt for more. Through testing, a few kingdoms sent prisoners sentenced to death so that we might observe the subject's ability in a controlled environment. We also obtained a Tyrannosaurus to see if the subject could truly do as rumors spoke. In the first test, the subject had indeed consumed a number of inmates that equated her mass, though we are unable to determine their destinations, as divination is not possible and it is too dangerous to allow any to enter the subject's containment cell.
On the second day of the first test, the subject's girth had not wholly diminished, and the subject was observed almost regurgitating before swallowing again several times. Not passing the opportunity to study the subject as she was brought in, this action is consistent with her anatomy, where the second stomach is a dead end organ yet still connects to the main esophagus. On day three, her girth returned to it's previous state. That is when we sent the diseased Tyrannosaurus, not wanting it to suffer the same fate as those who were punished for the worst of crimes in their nations. It seemed at the first the subject was unable to consume the tyrannosaurus, until she rolled back her eyes and unhinged her jaw. Not even one minute passed before nothing was left exposed of the tyrannosaurus. As an adult Red Dragon, one of the largest of true dragons, this is disturbing to me, and now I myself know the subject may try and succeed to do the same to me if she were to get a hold of me. More concerning, her girth returned to normal on the fourth day after consuming the Tyrannosaurus.
It is currently unknown if study will continue at this present time. the Experiments conducted to test the subject's abilities have convinced the wardens she needs to be taken out and removed as a threat, and the subject's psychology does not help her case. Though the subject's demeanor is one of innocence looking to form connection, instincts to devour trump any connection formed, only for said connections and individuals to be forgotten immediately after being consumed. The subject has shown no remorse for actions taken, and even takes pride in how much she has consumed. I myself am running out of excuses to keep the subject alive for study.
