Yes, a "good man" who said gays should be stoned to death and called it "God's perfect punishment", called the Civil Rights Act a "huge mistake", said a woman's natural place is under her husband's control, called gun violence victims "a reasonable price to pay to preserve the Second Amendment", claimed that Muslims only came to America to destabilize and destroy civilization, called empathy an overrated concept, said Palestine doesn't exist, called vaccines "medical apartheid" and encouraged use of hydroxychloroquine as a COVID cure, started that fuckhead bullshit story about Haitian migrants eating people's pets, claimed most people get scared when they find out a black pilot is flying their plane, told young women trying to get their college degrees and pursuing jobs that they need to focus on getting husbands and making babies instead, and stated that if he had a preteen daughter who got raped and impregnated, he'd force her against her will to carry her rapist's baby to term and give birth.
Oh, forgot another one, let's not leave out when he called for "a patriot" to bail out the man who tried to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and violently assaulted her husband with a hammer! Because political violence is forgivable and even worthy of a few good laughs when Trump supporters do it!
I think the truly vile part is that it was done in front of his very young children, and now some "normal" people on social media think it's okay to call for their deaths too.
People have different views, people have different beliefs and people have different takes. No-one with any view, belief or take should ever by harmed or indulge in harming others in any way, shape or form.
Except when that person openly calls and supports violence against others of different faiths, and lifestyles. Then They do deserve whatever harm comes their way as a result.
He was a good man and didn't deserve what happened.
