Tattoo Artists - Suggestions for text?
Hey folks. So I have a tattoo that I'd like to get, a line from a poem that means a lot to me. It's Dorianne Laux's "Antilamentation" and the line is "You've traveled this far on the back of every mistake" but I'm kinda stumped on exactly HOW to get it done.
I've had a couple of folks try to design me a tattoo in the past that incorporates more than just the text, but it always ends up looking kinda clunky. I know I could do just the text on its own, there's always the classic/cliche "typewriter" font that you so often see but is that my best choice? Do any of you folks have advice on how you'd handle someone asking for text to be inked on them?
(Also, not looking to somehow get an actual design for free! Just need advice before approaching any of my local tattoo places, though if there is someone who has an amazing idea for how to do it, we can totally talk about you getting paid for it.)

Gentle calligraphy. Stylish. Classic. And those who don't understand it or can't read it, it's a story to be told and a conversation started.
