My commissions are CLOSED... 🎉FOREVER🎉

At last, I have done it. I have finally cleared my commission queue! It is 100% empty!! It's been many years since I last had the taste of this particular freedom!!!
But that was only possible because I have made an important decision: I will not be taking commissions anymore! You may have noticed that I haven't spammed my dumb ads everywhere for a bit now. Yeah, there will be no more ads. This is no longer a viable kind of work for me...
In the last few years I've been struggling more and more to keep up with commissions, and that's mostly because I've done so many for so long that I started to kinda really dislike drawing... Like, drawing stopped being something fun and enjoyable because it was just mostly work. So I end up never finishing my personal arts and stuff because drawing is the last thing I want to do when I wanna rest and have fun.
I think it was easier before because for a long time, even though I always had OCs, I didn't really have much of a clear goal of what I wanted to do with them. But now I do... I have so much stuff planned that I really, REALLY want to see done, and it's been really painful to never be able to. It's very frustrating to want to draw for myself but then not manage to get past an ugly sketch because my creative energy is all used up.
I am very very thankful to all the people who supported me throughout the years, but it's really about time for me to move on from this.
If you're not interested in my OC bullshit, you're free to unfollow me because this is about to become an OC-bullshit-exclusive zone, heh. Especially if you followed me for birds... because I think my status of Certified Bird Artist has now expired. Despite my endless pile of OCs and the Bird in my name, I have very few bird OCs so there likely won't be a lot of birds super often around here anymore, especially since apparently all I want to draw now is dogs with big ears...
Anyway, that's it for this life status update! I'll post all the remaining unposted commissions shortly to get through with that quickly, but there should be more interesting stuff coming up soon! <3
Now, to catch up with all the online things I've been missing out because I didn't want to come online until I defeated my final boss of commissions...

That said, as someone who recently got back into my love of creating my own lore and finally writing it down to (digital) paper, warts and all, I can only approve of you following your passion on OCs and lore!
The only thing that makes me sad is I won't be able to get birds from you for my lore and bullshit with you about them. XD
Commissions are an awesome thing when you need the cash, and drawing other people's characters is fun... but I think almost all artists start to feel a little bit creatively starved if they don't have time to work on their own stuff, too.
I hope you enjoy the freedom, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
