A few people I watched on FA reported them getting act.

The 'wanna test my game' scam has been going on for months, along with the hacker sending random pictures that doesn't come up as previews.

Years. Early on when discord came out, I had an artist I used to watch decide to try to send me something of that nature. The COMPSEC mindset I had probably saved my buns quite a few times.

Actually, you're right, its been going on for year since Skype also had this issue as far as I can remember, just presented in a different way.

The sad part is that no matter how many PSAs we try to put out, there's still going to be people who fall for this kinda thing. But it's still worth informing others, especially if they start impersonating your average furry, or worse, get a hold of an artist's account. Personally, I wish we could track down these motherfuckers and rearrange their faces, but that's a lot of wasted time and energy.

Ironically, one of my close friends asked me if I'd be willing to test his game out, and asked me over discord... only, we were on voice, and I know he's been working on it for a while. :P not quite ready for the testing yet though lol
