i havent really enjoyed any indie animation that isnt made by vivziepop, and being biased is the least of the problems.
Everything feels the same weather its trying to copy what shes doing or if its original it just feels like the same formula again and again and again. Give characters a set up trope then set up other episodes, then say something that becomes a meme to have it sustain people get hyperfixated on background characters, focusing always on social commentary and sometimes not really taking itself seriously, episodes get dark then switch tones with a joke way to quickly. The same formula that the post 2012 marvel movies fall under.
ironic people consider vivz material punching bag yet folks copy off her and claim they do better.
I miss the late 2000s and all 2010s when we had movies that were serious and gritty
And so far i need an adult animation thats tone is super serious and grimdark, just like Fences, the Godfather, 70s Hulk, Shawshank Redemption, Inception and Snyders DC.
