My grandparents have ever been the enablers of the family. They've glossed and rugswept a lot, and act like the family should just all get along, despite what my sister and bad aunt have done. But my sister is even beyond them now. They offered my sister to come stay with them for a while, but on the condition she has to go to rehab for her drug and alcohol addictions. And it wasn't negotiable. Well, she chickened out. She'd rather be homeless than without her precious substances. Don't know how long this will last. I still think prison is what's needed to sort her out. Someplace she can't get drunk or high for a few years would be ideal. She can't stay with the woman she'd been living with the past few months anymore. They had a major falling out because that woman is even crazier than my sister. And she attacked my sister. So my grandparents helped move her back in with her last remaining friend. But supposedly she's been staying outside like a hobo. Lord, earlier today I saw a homeless woman in her 50s or so loudly ranting to herself about sexual stuff with an imaginary friend. And I can only think, that'll be my sister someday if she doesn't change.
