Where I'm at [Human art, Tournament winners, patron update]

Hey guys!
Wanted to make this Journal to give you guys an update on where I'm at and what my plans are for the next few months.
Since I'm aware that this journal is gonna be a long one I have decided to split this into different sections so you can find the information that you're most excited to read.
First thing I'm happy to announce is the winner for the bondage Tournament! ⭐Nazir!⭐
The votes were very close so I left them open for a long time but the winner was Nazir by just one vote!
This does mean I'll be working on the short comic page for him as the winner! I do aim to have this finished before the end of the year but I really want to take my time with this and produce a comic that I'm really happy with (more on that below).
The spoiler is in the title but I'm planning on writing a book in the month of November. Used to be this thing called NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) before the organization folded but I still believe in the spirit of the event and many other writers do. With my circumstances shifting over the past 5 years I was never able to fully commit to the event (due to education, illness or some other external factor). But this year with me finally living in my own house and being able to control my days I will be making the commitment to actually participating.
By default the challenge is to write 50K words in the month of November towards a new book. Not sure if I will stick to this goal but I will be trying to finish the book I wanna write in that month (its first draft that is). For those who are interested its a werewolf romance with mystery and thriller undertones and you may have already seen the two lovers in some artwork by my friend

So back when I started doing bondage artwork I drew mostly human stuff, then I transitioned into a 50/50 of human and furry and since I have drawn mostly furry stuff and while this has been fantastic and fun and joyous and I wouldn't have it any other way but....I have massively fallen behind in my ability to draw Humans. Probably a massive exaggeration on my part but the point is I really struggled to actually draw the characters from my book and I don't want that to be the case. So going forward I'm going to be doing more human bondage artwork.
Not all of that artwork is going to be posted here. I have decided to make an old X account I had into my main posting point for my human art bondage LINK HERE. Why here? because I believe it will get the most engagement, I may consider moving to bluesky once I have a bit of a following there but I suck with social media so I'm gonna keep it simple for now.
Main reason im doing this is because I don't really get the engagement I want when i post human stuff here. It always performs so much worse (for obvious reasons) and I need to see that it does well on its own.
With the above sections describing what I'm gonna be working on in quite a bit of detail it should come as a surprise to absolutely nobody that my patreon is taking a bit of a back seat for the time being. I will be pausing monthly payments for the foreseeable future while I work on my book. Exclusive patreon artwork will remain there for now and not be moved to public posting until I reenable monthly subscriptions so those who have paid will still retain exclusive access to those images. I may still find the time to post images to my patreon but these will have no guaranteed upload schedule or consistency. You will still be able to join the patreon if you so wish and will have full access to all prior images and my discord server. Doing this while subscriptions are pause will only charge you the once until monthly payments are reenabled.
So with all these funky plan what's going to happen with this page? Absolutely nothing lmao. This page is staying exactly where it is and there will still be posts coming to it. I am not going anywhere and I just felt like I wanted to make that crystal clear for you lot. I just may be slightly busy with other things going forward. Do let me know if you guys would care to see some human stuff on here and I will post it :P
One final thing before I close out is that I'm looking to do some more work on my skill as an arist (like always) but I want to have a specific focus on my ability to do comics. In the past I have NEVER once been happy with a comic I have produced and thus I'm gonna do some fucking around to try and find out what works for me in a sustainable format. Then who knows? I may be producing comic content in the future 😈😈

Regarding human art, I like it, and human art can be perfectly good. Deserves more engagement even here, honestly! If I still had a Twitter account (and I have no desire to go back there), I'd definitely check out your human stuff there~
As for comic content, well, considering you helped a bit in getting mine off the ground with your advice, you know I'd look forward to seeing you try your hand at that again. I was nervous at first about things like time investment, but it's been going really well even regarding that, so wahey!
Honestly some comic pages from you would be very fun to see, so I'll be looking forward to see how this experiment goes. ^^
Funnily enough I also started art by drawing mostly humans. Still makes me forget to add tails sometimes. xP I think my FA year count is just now barely reaching how long I've been on deviantart before that and human art was most of what I did back then. I just have a very different relationship with drawing them, because I enjoy them a bunch, but only in non-kinky situations, haha. They can be aesthetically pleasing to me, just not sexy. XD You do them quite well, so I assume it's more about the time taken rather than the quality itself. I feel like being efficient with time is always the hardest bit though. xD
