Discontinuing Commissions

Hey all!
I just wanted to put a small announcement up that I will nolonger be taking commissions of any kind for the foreseeable future.
This decision has been a long time coming!
As much as I have loved making YCH over the years, it's become obvious to me that as soon as there is a transaction/payment involved in the process, it immediately shuts something down in my brain. I have struggled a lot with stress, depression, and difficulty with deadlines because of it—issues that I've never had when it's come to things like art trades, collabs, and gift art. The only conclusion I can draw is that the transaction is killing the joy, and that ultimately isn't worth it for me anymore. So I'm cutting that part off entirely!
That being said, I would love to open up for art trades and collabs in the future! I also want to try to get back into streaming more often, so those would be a fun thing to work on live. If you've ever wanted to do a trade with me, or are looking for a collab partner, please feel free to leave a comment or send me a note. I'm actually working on a fun collab right now, and I'm excited to share that when we finish it up!
I'm hoping that this decision helps take some weight off of my back when it comes to making and sharing art. It's been hard to let myself draw when I've had deadlines looming over me, and I just want to be free again! Now I just have to figure out what the hell I'm going to have in my featured journal now xD
