I don't want to go to a convention anymore...

I was having fun at the South Alabama Comic Con (second year) in here in my native city of Mobile, Alabama. I had fun and I met alot of cosplayers so far and now of good panels suck as Japanese imports. I even bought a few items from there.
I just want to write about my bad experience with one fursuiter.
When I made it to the con, I ran into one of the fursuiters I had already made in last year's SACC (first one), I greeted with him and I've asked if I can get a picture taken or a selfie and he sad he was good since he already got enough people wanting to take a picture of him, I respected him. I even asked for a little chat as well and maybe a fist bump and then he went on me for no reason and rudely told me to go, meaning to get away from him.... Yes, he was being rude and mean to me like I just don't do anything to him but knowing my interest in fursuiters and stuff. What's why I always ask for pics before, fursuiters or cosplayers.
And then, I have encountered a few new fursuiter, asked for a group picture and a little chst which they all accepted it. I waited a few minutes before they were ready for a picture taken. The same fursuiter being rude to me backed out of the group picture which it was still understandable. He even denied a fist bump or a high five from me which was also understandable.
Then he started scolding me for trying to come off as weird towards a few fursuiters. I'm wasn't being weird, I just wanted to have fun... I didn't do anything bad to the but to just asked them for a group picture which they agreed to. All I wanted was a want a picture because I just showing my interest in fursuiters.
Yes, I really had so much fun at the second year of South Alabama Comic Con but that experience with the same fursuiter was an only exception. I just couldn't get over the time he was being mean and rude to me and denied a photo of him but he had no problem with having a picture taken by other furs... I just feel like I just wanted to cry because all I did was to have fun. I didn't go to South Alabama Comic Con to get scolded by a fursuiter for no reason, I go there just to have fun and take pictures of cosplayers and fursuiters.
I just don't wanna go to a con anymore, I just rather go on a trip out of town and spend like 2 nights instead.

Unfortunately some people are going to be that way, and I will say, I've noticed an uptick in that kind of behavior over the last little while. Sucks when it happens, but now you know that suiter isn't the best kind of person. Some people are just assholes. But I do understand it putting a damper on your enthusiasm
