Pardon My Dust + I'm Alive

Hi dear friends <3 Long time, no talk.
In the words of Charlie Barkin, you can't keep a good dog down (so I'm going to presume the same goes for gryphons). The last few years have been disproportionately rough, but there have been some wins, and some groundwork laid for brighter days in the future. Won't bore or belabor the journal with details but it's certainly been a long season of change...the ending of abusive relationships, the passing of my estranged dad, the cancer diagnosis/caring for/passing of my mom, and otherwise putting in the work to decipher the hieroglyphics of my own self. A lot of time on the farm, a lot on the ol' shoulders, and a lot of thinking about what's important. The road has been long and difficult, and necessary to put the big girl pants on, but I am equipped to weather this storm. ...Wouldn't mind some metaphorical clear weather for a while, though! Phew.
Furry has been a big solace. Seeing friendly faces at cons, getting away from life, and doing art when I've felt able have been lifelines. (Oh, and would you believe I just got a new Mery fursuit from Twinky Arts?? :o ) Just to say - love you guys lots.
As for the "pardon my dust" part of the journal, I want to re-establish my art on FA. I miss the online part of my relationship with art, and I miss y'all! FA always served me well, and I miss everyone on here, but I've done a terrible job at keeping this up to date (most of my art was on Twitter, and now Bluesky as I moved off of the former). SOOOO, you may see a bit of submission spam as I re-upload some of the more worthwhile pieces you may have missed. Please forgive, I won't be spam posting regularly. 🙏 Just hopefully get on a more regular upload schedule.
Plus...I got some other cool stuff cooking that I am looking forward to sharing :o I'm feeling my age as far as what the newest things people are into are, but I do want to look into streaming again, and/or other ways we can engage in art online together. Plus I may or may not be working on a graphic novel about Shiloh and Marley, and dying to share all about it...!
Anyway...I miss y'all, and hope each and every one of you have been well. <3 It's nice to be back. Come say hi and give me a hug at BLFC or FetchNW if you're going to either this year!

Good to see you're still alive and kicking - my sincerest condolences to you, congrats for getting outta shitty situations, and I don't think you'll have any problems at all making a comeback to the furry community.

But from what you described, that's a ton of baggage to deal with, period. I'm so sorry you had to go through that mess.
And like an idiot, I failed to see this journal til now, instead catching up on your wonderous artwork .
I am so glad you are back though, I seriously missed your art and weird humor.
Your art has always been an inspiration to me and I'm so happy I get to see more of it again. <3
