Am I trying too hard? Or just not enough?

This is in regards to my streaming...for those of you that actually pay attention to my activities. I really try to make my streams as feasible and good as I can using only my little bit of equipment and thin walls from which to do so.
Lately I feel like I haven't really been on anyone's radar as far as trying to entertain people. I send notices. Nobody really shows up except for a select few folks. And I am grateful for that. But I have been trying to stream for about a year now. I haven't really seen any growth or even plateaued where I am. I don't have many friends to stream with. Those that I support don't exactly reciprocate or even know who I am.
I want this streaming life to be successful. However it feels hard to do so when people don't even give you a passing glance. I am not popular, I am not an artist, I am not even rhe best gamer. I am just me.
So I asked, what more do I have to do? If it sounds like I am being impatient, I'll be honest. I am.

Consider getting a better microphone, or adjusting your audio settings. I had trouble hearing you over the game itself. Idk whether its a settings issue or a hardware issue though.
Consider making and posting a calendar of your streaming times, and try to adjust it to when you think most people might be free, like on weekends or evenings if you can. This way, people can actually plan to watch your stuff.
Lastly, consider making or commissioning a more interactive streamer sprite. I know that may seem shallow that people may consider to watch a stream or not just based on that, but a common theme I've noticed among streamers that see a bigger crowd is that they invest a lot into their png or vtube avatar. That character is the "host" so to speak, so having a really interactive one makes a good first impression for people who may run across your stream.
One more thing, sometimes it just takes a lot of determination and stubbornness before you finally reach your stride. You seem to at least have over a hundred followers, which imo is pretty decent for a year. It took me forever to get that far in my art journey, before I finally gained again a few years in. It's great that you're asking around on how to improve, and I hope others are also able to give you advice that'll help you succeed. I wish you the best!
