Please do not be so obnoxious as to say and ridicule me because I don't think a character you like is good. That is my opinion but I am not going to tolerate being belittled because of my opinion on a character.
There are people who say that Godfather is an amazing movie. I don't know. I don't care. It's not a movie I give a crap about.
There are people who say that Elden Ring is the best FromSoft game ever made. I extremely disagree with that and think it is one of the worst and poorly thought out.
I think Dark Souls 2 is an amazing game. I am in the minority of that opinion and accept it. I am not gonna start huge fights over it.
I like The Legend of Zelda. I am not gonna get angry if someone tells me that Link is one of the most boring protagonists in history.
But I WILL NOT tolerate belittling me for not caring or even disliking something you do like. Do us all a favor and learn a little humility. Holy fuck.

DS2 was Solid
LoZ & Link has existed for 40+ years. Link is obviously doing something right lol
DS2 was way too overhated. The game did a lot of things right, the best example of which is the fact that you can make your archetype whatever you want and its all viable. Fisticuffs? I literally beat the game with my fists. Bow only? Completely doable. Dual wielding? It is literally a mechanic in the game. Magic only build? 1000% possible.
Link's boringness stems from his character being a representation of yourself. He is supposed to be a blank slate. I actually wish Nintendo would let that go so we can really see who he is but given what he is supposed to be from what we see, I quite like him. He's a lazy fuck with a heart of gold and a drive to see justice and good prevail.
