Artists like comments.
Writers NEED comments.
Tell writers what you think, even if you hate it. I think Totally Spies would work as a serious spy movie. All you'd have to do is dial down the characters' personalities a bit and cut out the slapstick and you'd end up with something that could stand with Bond and Mission Impossible.
BTW, live-action Totally Spies already exists. It's called Charlie's Angles.
