Go to the item boxes and put uneeded items into them? If you can't do that it is possible you have locked yourself up and need to restart. If you still have the emblem in your inventory you can put it back where you've found it. You can just use an herb to clear up a space. The first Item box is on the east side of the mansion.

In the End used up all Ink and Stuff for it to work.
Played trough a lot of it yesterday and going back to it now, it has a fantastic athmosphere and all, but idk why they choose to keep that inventory.
It's reaaally reaally bad if you have to backtrack to a box just because you wanna pick up a key that you would have otherwise easily be able to outsource with a keychain.

I get it with all other stuff like guns, first aid and puzzle stuff, but at least keys should have been free pickups.

Awesome~ don't worry the next game In the series doesn't suffer from that issue so much. Plenty of item boxes wherever you end up.

Yeah looking forward to Resident Evil 2.
Overall i enjoyed the Mansion area the most, the Design for it is just Peak and straight a 10/10.
Would give the Game itself a 7/10.
It's fantastic but has too many weak point that could have easily been changed in a Remake (even optional in config if people want to play with the original System)

Personally i didn't mind the whole Door Animation, but i can see that it could get tidious for some people.
I kinda liked it because it took the rush away and gives you some moments to think about stuff

Am unsure but if you double click start or enter or whatever control schemes u use you can skip the door animation a lil bit
