Slow due to dying grandmother
General
Just as the title says, my grandmother, who Ive been caretaking for for years, is on hospice. I am slowly watching her die and all I can do is make her as comfortable as possible. It is so painful. I am emotionally and physically exhausted and I have very little energy for anything else right now. She is in the end stage, so it should only be a matter of days now. I am trying my best to work on commissions in my spare time. Just please be patient with me right now.
Update: She can't swallow anymore. But she's thirst, but she just chokes. Its been too days and she's so dehydrated but the nurses don't want to give her fluid because it may make things worse. Expecially because her kidneys are failing. And the gurgling and moaning. I cant seem to get her comfortable and the morphine is only doing so much. I listen too her all-night moaning and crying out. I get up several times a night to try to help but there's only so much I can do. I just wish she could pass peacefully instead of suffering like this. The sounds are the worst, it's just so distressing to listen to!

And don't worry about work, that should come first.
