Why Are Non-Furry Artists Posting on FA? (e.g. Me)
Hello, my furry fans and followers -
I want to ask if you'd rather see a more curated stream of furry and furry-adjacent art in this gallery, or if I ought continue posting my more "general very kinky latex and bondage and encasement content" here.
You have surely noticed that over the past few years, there has been an uptick of non-furry artists (like myself) or those who only dabble posting their galleries here.
It is in part because many other galleries and websites where we might have put our art are now Shitty. We live in a world where content is so frequently restricted and censored, where the spaces for artists like deviantart, bluesky, and countless others are still functional, but restricted. I post lots of quick pics on Bluesky still https://bsky.app/profile/phantomdotexe.bsky.social
but recent changes make much of my art all the more suspect and restricted there.
As a result, those aforementioned artists (lovely artists like https://www.furaffinity.net/user/tonibabelony/ or https://www.furaffinity.net/user/squeakytiefling/ have been posting their art here, too.
I've been doing so, and I would like to know - how do you feel about it?
You probably know that I have many other avenues for artwork; Pixiv, Deviantart, Tumblr, Newgrounds, all of them **do** have me posting there, and I generally don't deal with censorship due to the nature of what I post.
Would you rather get a more curated stream of more furry and furry-adjacent art in this gallery?

Pipbat is right about the tags. As long as you're tagging your stuff right I think keeping things "business as usual" is fine. If anyone was bothered that you were uploading human stuff, they wouldn't be watching!
After having to ditch Twitter, and now Bluesky getting all puritanical about fictional smut to protect our imaginary OC's from make-believe harm, there's vanishingly fewer places to put our stuff, and audience or no, I'd like my art to have a forever-home that absolutely won't bend the knee to marketable purity standards.
Plus nine times outta ten, furries generally appreciate good kink, whether it's furry or not. I'll tag my uploads appropriately and they can filter it out if it's not what they like. As it should've been / was for a while with BSky, 'live and let live, moderate / curate your experiences as you like', that's what the tools are for.
You're right about other art sites, too
