Patreon Ban -

Would mean a lot for those who were supporting me to help support me over on
https://subscribestar.adult/dacad
instead!
Least for now, My Patreon page was suddenly removed at a moments notice after receiving an email stating three of my works were in violation, those being:
A voodoo doll type animation I was working on (x2) (claimed non-con / no clearly stated consent?)
and a vappy anim I had finished (claimed to be beastiality?)
They were very vague
It's really stressful knowing the thing that helps me get food on the table suddenly vanished without a care in the world for me, just a sudden email and notice its gone?
hope things can smoothen out but im super shaken up over this

Times are moving huh? And not for the better ...
Sorry it came for you too buddy, ya hung onto Patreon longer than I expected with how things had turned in 2023. I guess we got to trade Furaffinity getting its shit together for fiscal deplatforming.
I hope that you are able to recover your revenue
I hope you get it back. Think positive
The only consolation I can offer is this: Nobody's loyal to Patreon, Paypal, Twitter, any of these parasites. We're loyal to the artists we love, not the lesser creatures who enrich themselves by profiting off your work. I'm not the only one who will join you elsewhere.
I've been doing that for years and have found I can do a lot more lewd art there than I thought.
But there are a few things that can count as noncon that you wpould not think would. Getting feedback from Patreon on that to keep your art in line with their rules goes a long way!
And be careful about advice from people that don't use Patreon much as it is not as strict as some assume. You can get in depth good answers about your art on Patreon if you send examples in for review. I send in my art for review at least once a year.
The big ones I have been told to avoid with my art when contacting Patreon was feral with anthro, hypnosis and scenarios where facial expressions don't look consenting, and anything that could look underage. If you avoid those subjects it seems there's not many other limitations.
Ridiculous how the kind of thing that happened to you here is treated so different than something like a job, where you can be obligated to receive some kind of remuneration for a sudden firing. Yet patreon can just take away hundreds, even *thousands* of dollars of a monthly income at will, with no valid response, with no forewarning, with no opportunity to resolve the issue on your end, with no meaningful communication aside from automated emails... It's deeply unjust!
Internet service providers who have creators that receive a living from actions on those sites (creators that bring revenue to them even!) *need* to have some sort of more meaningful interaction when so much money is involved; when the money involved enters the hundreds, it's ridiculous how easy it is for it all to be taken away. Youtube, patreon, subscribestar, recently steam and itch.io... All of them are guilty of this!
I wish you well recovering from this, however it becomes resolved in the end
ty for your support frien
They're not consistent in their moderation standards either. Honestly I won't be surprised if they go the Gumroad route and just ban NSFW entirely. It isn't the bulk of their business and clearly they're just not capable of moderating it fairly. Instant bans should only be for extreme violation of the rules like repeat offenses after being told to cut it out or posting blatantly illegal content like real child pornography.
I've heard that creators who do end up having to start over on Subscribestar kinda bounce back after word gets out. You may need to do some more marketing to get the word out, gentle reminders to subscribe to your Subscribestar, that sorta thing.
I hope things work out for ya in the end.
I hate that this happened to you.
