It is my 33rd birthday today, whoopieee~
Still trying to find the time and resources to get my stream setup up and running so that I can stream some games and potentially irl miniature painting streaming for those interested, over at Twitch.tv. If you wish, you can go ahead and pre-follow over at https://www.twitch.tv/SirRahka to get notified through email and whatnot when I finally decide to go live there.
Naturally I will also be posting links here at the start of the streaming a couple of times, just as reminder for those who are actually interested about that, after which I will not bombard your inbox here.
That said, I wish you all a splendid day and happy Halloween / Samhain / what not if you choose to partake in those things.
For me, it is now theee 5th consecutive Halloween movie marathon with themed snacks and drinks with my irl buddies. Usually we start with a black & white movie from the Universal Studios monster films mashup (Mummy, Dracula, Frankenstein, Invisible Man, Creature from the Black Lagoon, so on) followed by some 80's and 90's movies, usually a bit more obscure ones, then some modern ones and perhaps even movies that came out in the 2020's. Naturally my house is decorated to the brim with Halloween crap and those who so desire can also carve a pumpkin at my place before the movies. Envy, or the bane, of the neighbourhood each year I decide to put skeletons and what not on my balcony along with the carved pumpkins. Cause you see, the thing is, Halloween isn't really a thing here in Finland. Never has been. It's not illegal either. So once I moved to my own place I was like, why the hell not? I've always liked the season, I've always liked hosting Halloween themed birthday parties when I was a child. Time to crank it up a notch, and so I did.
Also, once I finally get through my 3+ years worth of FA submissions that have been gathering dust in my inbox (4859 remaining before 0 unseen submissions, wheeee), I will then try to upload my backlog of art that I have gathered across the past 7+ years that I am yet to upload. So look forward to that.
