On a more serious side, yes, right now the plan is to create about ... five-ish phone lockscreen animation YCHs and maybe one big free-concept animation commission per year. But I will have to see if the interest in these things is there for a sustainable time, and if it makes sense financially since animations, well, require a fuckton of work and production costs. The phone lockscreen animations I can probably get down to a manageable level with good processing and workflows, which is why they make for a good staple commission type while at the same time offering something that I think people will have a lot of fun with and can always see at the fingertips of their phones.
Do you intend to also do drawings on a commission base? Or would you rather focus on animation work then?
That has always been my passion, I never liked the drawing parts. That was just necessary in the past to create animations with, until I discovered that I can just pay other artists to do that part :D.
Been the same for me with 3D animations. I like posing and animating stuff, but modelling, sculpting, rigging, weightpainting etc. ... no thanks.
