My mom is really going now…
It’s been over a decade since she was first diagnosed with cancer. From treatment to recovery, then regular checkups, relapse, metastasis, and now running out of all possible options.
We just signed a contract about the comfort care yesterday.
Basically means we gave up on the treatments, and if anything happens, the hospital won’t do anything to extend or trying to save her life.
Just literally nothing we can do, so it’s probably the best keeping her from suffering tbh.
And the doctor said the soonest will be this Saturday.

Won't ever make it easier, but it will allow you to look back on this without regret.
Might not mean much, but you have my sympathy.
Be with her, I would really like to have the opportunity to change this, it hurt me too when I read all this.
I find myself wondering often times if the categories 'right' or 'wrong' even apply. We all are just left with doing the best that we can.
I hope you and your family can make this difficult time as comforting as possible for your mom and that you can find comfort in each others' company.
