One note about AO3 is that it strictly prohibits "commercial activity" on the site and is very serious about enforcing it. This includes stating whether a work was written for pay; you should be fine mentioning that a work was written "for" or "at the request of" some person, as long as you don't actually say it was for monetary reasons.

This may sound like a weird restriction, but AIUI it's for legal reasons, to keep itself as far within the bounds of "free use" as possible in case anyone ever decides to bring a copyright challenge to a site that is still centrally focused on fanfiction.
