Hey guys and gals! While doing a recent Q&A, I've been asked an interesting question: "What was your first vore awakening that you can remember?"
I must admit that's quite a tricky question! I remember drawing vore pieces when I was still in middle school, around 10 years old. So I likely got "interested" in it before 2000's. But what did ignited it in me? Vore in medias were especialy common in 80's and 90's medias.
Goanna from Ferngully and his vore song;
The Anaconda movie from 97;
All the vore scenes from Looney Toons;
Scoobi Doo and his huge appetite;
The Don Bluth movies and all the mawshots;
Disney animated movies (ex: Scar gobbling Zazou);
The mawshots and drool dripping from Jurassic Park;

And then, it ended up centering on being swallowed. This attraction to the mouth of a crocodile, a T-rex, or a snake was powerful.
So, my first vore awakening, I don't have a specific memory of it; it's complicated. But before I was 10, I have several comics, books, and media that concentrate my first vore fantasies.
Weirdly enough it started even more with a Rockos modern life episode where Big Head eats the bug characters who are all talking and obviously sentient in their world. That moment where he swallows and they are silenced definitely did something to me... That was in the 90s
The very very early 2000s i remember coming across a site that had the story called Dinner which I can not go into details here but i re read it many times and then after that I was into vore forever.
A key moment was the Ferngully vore song, I was obsessed with it and with the goanna when I was 9, and from then on the interest kept getting bigger, fueled by different movies, series and comics. For example that certain Dragonheart scene left an impression (I saw it when I was 13), also Little Shop of Horrors, and Don Bluth movies (especially the ones with Feivel the mouse).
I can't remember when exactly, but I had to have been in middle school or around that time. I was big into reading the Animorphs series. There was a specific book, not really attached to the main story like called "In the Time of the Dinosaurs".
There was one part in it where Jake, one of the characters of the main group, was being chased by a T-Rex. It had gotten him pinned and then the author decided it was a good idea to explain all the bits about entering the mouth, getting swallowed, but it never went further than that.
Couple years later I watch some Don Bluth movies and think "Oh okay, interesting." Don't remember which one really got to me, though.
And it was The Why Why Family episode about the digestive track.
Then it was all the usual stuff, and one Donald Duck comic where he gets eaten by a massive snake, which I feel was made by someone into vore.
Took me until 15 to start actually googling shit, and the biggest things that got me here were Barbftr and some comic dubs. Then a year of mulling around until I was 16 to 17 and found passy, got into roleplay, and now it is an 8+ year streak of being a full-on vore furry (even though I don't have a fursona, I just love being eaten by fluffs.)
