Great nix fox is on Air
I lost a USB drive containing years of work on my Mugen 3D game, half a year's worth of office work, and commissions I had due—everything was lost. Now I have to recreate it all because my office job requires those documents, and it will be very difficult to restore them since my PC, which had the backup, died.
And now I don't know whether to cry or laugh while crying.

Bueno, podría conectarse con un adaptador USB, pero si el disco en sí ya se estropeó... ><;
if its a simple matter of 'computer wont turn on' or 'Windows Died' then there might be a shot still
so finding that damn USB is important (start retracing your steps)
If no repair shops are in the area, you could possibly mail the damaged devices to a trusted friend and they could take it to a shop in their area, get it repaired, and send it back to you.
I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I know what it's like to lose a lot of important data and it's utterly soulcrushing.
I know starting again is going to feel rough, it's going to feel like you're climbing a tall hill, but bit-by-bit you'll climb your way back up. Don't burn yourself out trying to catch back up again, though; even the smallest bit of work done in a day is still progress!
