He impersonated a friend and with that was able to make me install a virus thinking it was a game. He changed the discord authentification app and the backup passes, i can't get my account back.

rip. I always looks for the standard "hey are you busy?" type lines. And just say something random. Most of the time its a friend I haven't talked to in a long time so there's one easy noticeable detail.

yeah, i got the: "Hey, are you busy right now? There's an event where you invide peeople to a game i like, can you use my code for it?"

Yeah they were just trying me about it as well. I tested them on it and their responses were so off that I was like "yeah something isn't right about all this". Came on here and saw the Journal and was like "Yup knew I wasn't speaking to the actual person". Freaking hate when you feel like you can't trust your friend list without have to "verify" if the person is who they are.

God, that's how I got hacked a couple years ago. Turn your PC off right now and wipe it offline. Scrub that shit *CLEAN* with some formatting utilities.

Next, create a new email on your phone that you can associate your Discord account with

Contact Discord customer support and say you've been hacked and would like your account locked temporarily. While it is locked, switch your email and change your password. Once you're back in and have control, change the passwords to any website you are currently logged into on your PC. PayPal may be compromised if you use that.

I was hacked for 24 hours, and this is all it took for me to get everything back. Some people never get their stuff back, but all it takes is a little persistence.

That happened with me too. It sucks, but you CAN get your stuff back. All you need to do is tell Discord to lock your account down tight while you get a new, secure email up and running. I would recommend Proton mail because it's very secure with your data. Even if hackers are able to get into it by changing the password, if they don't have YOUR password all of your emails will be encrypted.

Well, problem is that hacker was able to steal chromium brower data. Fortunatelly he did not had much time, i logged on my google account on my phone and deactived all conected devices, so he lost brower access.
Hope discord support will help me recover it and if not, delete it.

Ack yeah that does suck. I swapped over to Firefox after I got hacked. Thankfully if you wipe your PC and clean off whatever trojan shit the hackers had, you should be able to snag your Discord account back after it's been locked. From what I've heard, if an account is confirmed to be hacked, they get pretty receptive to granting access to the original users.

I didn't see a message from the account, but I went something similar to it a few years ago. Though it wasn't serious and I got my account back, but hackers are a different breed of problems. I feel for you, dude.

yeah your discord just messaged mine after three years asking me to put a code for them on a game... and i said no because its very rude just to come out of nowhere after so many years of no contact for a favor
