Please do not accept random people in your notes asking you to commission them, it's most likely A scam and should already be a big red flag. If you pay though paypal but they want you to use Friends and Family, that's a massive red flag, as they will most likely use stalling tactics to run that six months out so you can can't do a charge back. Like giving you a sketch, or loads of excuses like my pet snake is sick, or having medical problems and is in need of money. Scummy shitty ways to make you feel bad for them.

I myself have fallen victim to that it and lost 300$ Even though I had a bad gut feeling about what I was doing I went though with the deal anyway.

Even long time friends can fuck you over sometimes. If they take months to years, to even start, or get started on anything you commission them and still want you to commission more, don't do it. You either get what you are owed first, or nothing at all, and at that point you cut ties with them,
