What's your favourite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon, and (if applicable) who with?

The weeks are generally crazy, so Elora and I use Sundays to just chill. Bad food, bad movies, gaming, puzzles, Lego, etc etc. Gives us a chance to reconnect

Whether or not we do these things clothed is a whole 'nother question xD

Hmm. This one reflects some still only half-baked notions of mine, so it may not make much sense, but let's spit it out and see:

Which aspects of Oakstone arose spontaneously from within yourself and which did you design by a voluntary creative act?

So Oakstone predominantly represents me as a truesona. Personality-wise, likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc. Hair color, eye color... I even have an oak leaf necklace and a hand carved walking staff with leaves trailing up the length of it. I mean, I'm obviously not a anthro wolfman, but even the graying around his temples and the tip of his muzzle reflect where I'm starting to gray first. I guess one of the design elements I absolutely wanted on him was the black markings on his body. As someone who is disabled, I wanted to reflect the certain parts of me that struggle and have been damaged as I have weathered this disorder. Broken bones, herniations, surgeries, etc are all represented on him by where the black marks can be found. It's healing in a way to see those; that he's still up and around and loving life. And rather than diminish his character, I feel like they kind of add to him.

XD What d'ya mean, glutton for punishment? Do you mean continuing to answer questions, or the physical stuff on my character?

Favorite dog? Any. I've had German shepherds, goldies, cocker spaniels, lab mixes. I'd love a border collie, but I don't know if I can give it the activity stimulation it would need. But all dogs are good, and no matter the breed or the mix or anything, I love em. Gimme a good old shelter dog any day of the week. And older pup so we can give it a chance to live out its golden years in a warm, safe, happy home ^^

Border collies: simply wonderful. My parents had one, like so many sadly underutilised and consequently a bit neurotic, though at least she had a farm to run around on. But she and I loved each other. She had the most wolf-like mannerisms of any dog I ever knew.

Final question: how much of you is wolf? (Deliberately open-ended question; please interpret it however you prefer.)

I mean... I have the same number of chromosomes as a standard-equipped guy xD

My family and pack matters to me incredibly. I have a deep affinity for ravens. I try to protect and help others, especially the older and younger ones. I love to sing and love to spend time outdoors. I can stand outside in the middle of winter and not feel terribly cold

Someone once told me that canine 'sona's, especially wolves, were overused and overrated, but I disagree. We move in families, whether bio or found, and seek to help others, often to our own detriment. If all people were as loyal and happy and friendly and loving as dogs, I think the world would be a much better place ^^

What is on your "to commission" list?

Ah man, way too much! I definitely want to partner Catkin up with a couple of folks. I always like the idea of getting more Oak, Elora, and Eleanor spending time together pieces, slice of life or otherwise. I wouldn't mind getting a few M/M pieces with Oak and a couple of select others. I gotta start using Thorn and Malachai again with other people's OCs.

Next thing planned, though, is a monster version of Oak. A tall primal nature godling built to protect his forest and serve his seekers. I got a design all thought up and picked out. I just need a few finishing touches ^^

Hmm. What's your favourite cuisines?

Favorite cuisines... I'm not sure if I have a favorite, tbh. I fell in love with Japanese food while living over there, and try to make the curries and noodle dishes and everything else I got to eat. Laotian food is my current love; we have a couple of restaurants up here that are just fantastic, and I love talking with the chefs about their spices and techniques. I wish we had a good Indian place nearby. New flavors, I'd say. Something more than just the hamburger and hot dog fare of the US
