So I've never done this before please let me know if any of these ideas sound interesting.
A one horned oni draining the strength of a whole village.
Another Kylel adventure
A half dragon homunculus attacks a dragon kin then starts draining them to gro strong enough to challenge his creator
A kitsune tricks an entire valley of villages into worshipping him as a god which slowly turns him into one.
A vampire gets magic item that allows him to suck the strength and size out of people.
A wolven low rank villain gains the power to drain people by drinking their blood uses it to grow way stronger.

I just needs ideas on what powers and changes he gets plus how far to take it.
Since you comment on everything if there is anything you want included let me know.
Currently I have
He has a low rank ability to shift into a wolf hybrid which doesn't change his size. He gets slightly stronger but not enough to matter.
Through either dark magic or an enhancement drug he steals he gains vampiric powers that allow him to drain people.
I think I will a modern setting. So tge drug idea he stole it and the first is by chance. What if when he absorbs powers they alter slightly to enhance his existing powers. Making them far greater?
