Edit: Two days!!! Y'all met this goal in two days!!! Thank you so, SO much, everyone! Sharing this around, donating, your kind words... it all means a lot to me and I'm honestly overwhelmed by all of your support! I'll be signing paperwork on December 1 and family has agreed to help me clear out my Cowtown apartment on December 6. It's finally happening! And I have you guys to thank for making this possible! <3
I got a big surprise this week: I'm moving to the big city! I've been trying to do this for years and I finally got approved for low income housing in a place with much better public transit, a big blind community, and so much I've been missing here in my rural city.
As of now, I need to raise enough money to cover the deposit, first month's rent, rent on my current place, and a UHaul, and I need the bulk of it by December 1 when I have to sign the lease papers. In just a couple days people have met more than half that goal! But I completely forgot to post here. So, if you are able and want to, I would deeply appreciate any help, which includes spreading the word around. :)

This might put a dent in my plans to get more commission backlog work done since I've got about three weeks to pack everything I own. o_o Then unpack it, move all my medical stuff, get oriented to my new city (though I thankfully spent time there last year while I was at a training center), and soooo much more. Although I have hopes that living somewhere that allows me to participate in community will help rejuvenate my creative drive.
Huge thanks to everyone who is helping out with this! On Monday I was in tears, feeling like it was impossible because I just don't have the money. Now I'm getting to move somewhere that will allow me to be a part of my family again and connect with the kind of community I haven't had in over a decade. Hopefully that will mean some local furries. I miss getting to go to little furry meet-ups.

Thank you! I am so overwhelmed (in a good way) by all of this. On Monday it seemed impossible and I was resigned to continuing to be stuck. As of today I have almost everything I need to make this happen. It's incredible!
