That's a sign that your screen brightness is too high for the environment you're in. To lower the risk of long-term eye strain, it's best to have the area behind your screen lit to roughly the same level as the screen itself.
My laptop has a problem where it sometimes pumps the screen up to 100% brightness when I return from sleep mode. Windows 11 is a disaster.
Back when I used windows, the only way to change the size of the taskbar icons was to use a registry edit.
And better yet, it didn't work, bc windows hates me and wants my icons all tiny so I can't see em, lmao
And...maybe. I kinda wish e-ink screens were more of a thing by now sometimes lol
I've heard good things about e-ink, but never seen it in person. I dunno, maybe everything should just have a little dimmer wheel on the side like an old Game Boy.
