Yes, my roommate learned how to play Commander format for Magic, during the Halloween season, and was into it so much, he got himself a FFX-themed precon deck to mess around with. That, in turn, has gotten me curious about it, and as such, I've bought a random precon deck based around Sonic the Hedgehog (yes, they have cards for Sonic in Magic, like they've been doing with a LOT of franchises). I already got a few cards for it, including Knuckles the Echidna, since they both have Haste and can create Treasure Tokens (which the deck is centered around), and he has an alt win condition that I can use with my many treasure tokens. Whether or not I'll need them, once I get the deck in the mail, is up in the air, but I did get some tokens for modifying stats, some spindown dice for calculating the treasures, and even a life counter. I don't plan on advancing more than just one deck of Commander, like I did with the many, MANY decks I built for Yugioh, so we'll see how that goes. Wish I had grabbed the binders of Magic cards that my old roommate had, when we moved out; would've been stealing, sadly, but a) he was a curmudgeon that was pretty flagrant with his spending, causing the fallout between us, and b) with that spending, he ended up forcing my current roommate to drain his savings for rent, which meant taking the binders would've been payback for him. Then again, considering this was in 2009 we left him, he died in 2014, and it's just NOW that we're getting into Magic, we'd probably have sold most of the cards in the binders, by now, to get money for other stuff.
