broken dropbox links
General
just a small update. so when i post alts, i usually just include them as dropbox links in the description of the base version of the piece. well, i recently discovered that somewhere along the line, pretty much all of my links broke. =,= when i hover over a given link, after any given & symbol, it for some reason adds an "amp;" that shouldn't be there (html jank or some shit idk), which breaks the link and takes you to an error page. but when i go into the page description to fix the link, those "amp;"s aren't there. the parts of the link with the &s themselves can't be removed either, because that's some kind of passkey for each dropbox link. and i guess dropbox sharing is weird, and the "anyone with a link" version of accessibility is actually "anyone with the specific link with the specific passkey."
i reason furaffinity code is at fault here, and the "amp;"s are added in the process of FA attaching the link to the text when i use the [url=] html tag. i can't just not use the url tag either, because when i paste the plain link, FA automagically does html stuff to it and borks it. i'll see if i can cook up any solutions later, but i'm kinda hoping it will just fix itself because i have SO many dropbox links scattered throughout my gallery. it'd be such a chore to find and fix each and every one lmao. we'll see
for now, if you wanna access any linked dropbox files in my gallery: copy the link, paste it into the search bar, then simply delete any "amp;" occurrences that follow an & symbol, and it'll work just fine. sorry for the inconvenience :P i'll post another update if things fix themselves or if i find a solution
