Hi y'all! I hope you are doing well!

I'm doing better, life is getting back to it's normal rhythm and we have been doing little updates to the house whenever we can. I moved back to my office and it does help with my productivity some more. I am slowly working through my queue and updating as many people as I can.

Our current main issue is that me and my wife are still dealing with a massive backlog of commissions so we are uncomfortable asking for more work. Mom is earning enough money for us to survive well enough so we are not in danger, just low on funds.

But then we ran into a problem :]

So back in Argentina, my wife had a good heart to heart with their mom. It was really sweet and I am so proud of both of them for communicating!! So Chaim's mom asked if they missed anything from Australia so she could send a care package. They asked for some snacks, some of their favorite curry powder since we ran out of it a bit ago and some ginger beer.

Oh boy.

Long story short, their mom used a very expensive shipping company that has been doing jack shit, Chilean customs have been incredibly unhelpful and the resident DHL that's dealing with our package country side is just not updating us on anything even though we changed emails and corrected numbers several times by now.

And then after I already paid a customs fee they asked for, they show up unannounced to my doorstep charging us 100USD ish for the package. A package that's barely 25USD ish worth on a supermarket. So I turned it down and tried to reach out for a reevaluation of the cost.

Two weeks later nothing has happened even though I reached out many times and we are worried the package will be destroyed soon oTL

Even though I really didn't want to come up to this, Iam opening some more commissions so I can try to save this thing. Chaim's mom has been super sweet lately and even hand wrote some recipes for them and its low key the thing I wanna save the most of this mess.
