Coding Commission Terms of Service
Ren’Py • Python • C#
Last updated: 11/20/2025
By commissioning me for coding work, you (“Client”) agree to the terms below. These apply to all projects I take on, regardless of where payment is processed (FurAffinity, Fiverr, PayPal, etc.).
1. Scope of Work
1.1. The scope (features, deliverables, deadlines, and price) is defined in our written conversation and/or invoice before I start.
1.2. Anything not explicitly agreed on is out of scope and may require extra payment or a separate commission.
1.3. I provide:
Ren’Py visual novel coding
Python scripts/tools
C# game / tool development (including Unity), as agreed
2. Content & Legal Restrictions
2.1. No underage content.
I will not work on any project that includes:
Cub / baby / toddler / child characters
Teen characters in NSFW contexts
Loli / shota or similar themes
Any real or fictional character depicted as under 18 in NSFW situations
All NSFW characters must be unambiguously 18+, in appearance, description, and context. If the age or design is questionable, I will decline or request changes.
2.2. No licensed / copyrighted IP.
I will not code projects that use:
Licensed characters, trademarks, or IP from companies such as Nintendo, Sony, Disney, etc.
Obvious 1:1 copies or direct clones of protected characters, games, or franchises
I only work on original characters, original settings, or properly licensed material where you can prove you have rights to use it.
2.3. Right to refuse.
I reserve the right to refuse or stop work on any project that:
Violates these rules
Violates site rules, platform policy, or applicable law
Poses a legal risk to me
If I must stop due to undisclosed prohibited content, refunds (if any) are at my discretion based on work completed.
3. Intellectual Property & Usage
3.1. Code ownership.
Unless we explicitly agree otherwise, I retain copyright and authorship to the code I write (“Work Product”).
3.2. License to you.
Once the commission is fully paid, you get a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free commercial license to:
Use, modify, integrate, and distribute the Work Product as part of your own project
Sell or monetize the finished game/project that includes the Work Product
3.3. My reuse rights.
I may reuse generic, non-client-specific code (utility functions, systems, patterns, frameworks) in future projects.
3.4. Exclusive rights (optional).
Exclusive rights to code must be:
Discussed before work starts
Priced separately
If purchased, I will not reuse the specific project-specific code for other clients, but I still keep my general knowledge and patterns.
3.5. Third-party tools & assets.
If your project uses engines, libraries, or assets (Ren’Py, Unity, plugins, art, fonts, music, etc.), they remain under their original licenses. You are responsible for:
Having the rights to use them
Following those licenses
4. Payment, Revisions & Refunds
4.1. Payment method (Fiverr, PayPal, etc.) and price are agreed in writing before I start.
4.2a Revision count:
Everyone gets 3 revisions. Any additional revisions are at my discretion.
Revisions will be discussed per issue.
4.2b. Revisions cover:
Fixing bugs
Adjusting things that clearly don’t match the agreed scope
Revisions do not cover new features or major changes that were not originally agreed on.
4.3. Refunds follow the rules of the payment platform used (Fiverr, PayPal disputes, etc.) plus:
If I have delivered substantial work matching the agreed scope, the commission is generally non-refundable.
Partial refunds, if any, are at my discretion, based on how much work is already completed.
5. Warranties & Liability
5.1. I do not guarantee:
Any specific financial success, traffic, or audience
Approval by platforms (Steam, itch, app stores, etc.)
Absolute bug-free performance on all devices or future versions of engines
5.2. The Work Product is delivered “as is”, based on the info and requirements you provided.
5.3. To the maximum extent allowed by law, my total liability for any claim about a commission is limited to the amount you paid me for that commission.
I am not liable for:
Lost profits, lost sales, bans, takedowns, or reputation damage
Legal issues caused by your content, your assets, or how you use the project
6. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate requirements and honest descriptions of your project and content
Confirm you have rights to any characters, art, music, text, and other assets you give me
Ensure your project complies with all laws, platform rules, and age-restriction rules
Test the code in your environment before public release
You also agree not to misrepresent underage characters as adults or hide prohibited content from me.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold me harmless from any claim, damage, or legal issue that comes from:
Your content (including NSFW, OC, or user-generated content)
Your use, modification, or distribution of the Work Product
Any violation of these terms, platform rules, or applicable law
8. Changes to These Terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies is the one in effect when we confirm your commission.
