A Note About Commenting and AI

General
You may or may not have noticed I have disabled comments on my newest submissions. I'm doing this because of a number of accusations I've received lately stating that my art is AI generated.
Now, you can tell me my art is shit, but what I will not tolerate (among other things) are such unbased allegations. So I forgot the umbrellas. So I fucked up anatomy. So I used an em dash. These do not imply a lazy usage of LLM tools, but more so, indicate that I am a human who makes mistakes (or prefers grammar).
I do not use AI for my art. Hard stop.
Everything I create takes me hours, weeks, and sometimes years of effort. I create from anguish, tears, and decades of practice.
So, for the time, I've disabled commenting because frankly I'm tired of it. And anyone who wishes to accuse me is getting blocked. No exceptions. I don't find it funny, so I'll block even if it's a joke.
Why does this upset me so much? The prevalence of AI imagery, music, videos, and other media interspersed within the art community is a problem. We are seeing many negative side effects of unethical practices by both businesses and regular folks which undermine the efforts put forth by true artists. Many times, these fraudulent "artists" diminish the works of the real artists, affecting their ability to make a living or to simply be seen. I could go on about all the unfortunate consequences of the tech we are currently witnessing, but there is something else that causes real harm: AI accusations. When you label or report an artist for AI use without valid evidence to support your claim, you are helping to ruin that person's reputation and perhaps their way of life. I've known honest hard-working artists who have been suspended or banned from sites they rely on over false perceptions lacking any basis in fact. It's not fair to us. Please stop with the (un)friendly fire. We're already fighting a losing battle.
Okay. That's my rant on this matter. Commenting is open on this journal if you wish to further indict me.

FA+

Ignore them. Words will never hurt the talent and experience you have over them.
I love your work. Been a fan for almost two decades <3
Maybe next they can go back and point out that the background in the Monalisa doesn't make a whole lot of sense if you look close. Time travel AI!?
I've seen it happen a number of times and it's kind of disgusting.
It saddens me to no end to see these AI-generated abusers & cheaters raking in a sheer profit from the deplorable reconstituted shit they 'create' off the backs of hard-working committed artists who actually care enough to handle intricate details on their own without AI-created guidance.
I've said it once before and I'll always, always keep saying it over and over again: Fuck AI.
How sad and annoying. I'm one of those who's been watching for a while and I know your stuff isn't AI... and clearly it isn't. I don't even really see how someone (much less multiple people) could make that mistake with your stuff. I hope you will not take it too hard, and good luck!
“O beware, my lord, of jealousy;
It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock the meat it feeds on.” (Othello Act 3 Scene 3)
I did notice that you had blocked comments, and it's sad that this is the world we live in now.
Did you mess up perspective? AI. "only AI gets perspective wrong"
Did you get the proportions wrong in some way? AI. "only AI would mess up proportions"
Did you post something that looks incredible? AI. "only AI can create something like this"
Did you post something that looks shitty? AI. "only AI can create something this bad"
Did you post a WIP? AI. "only AI would create something this unpolished or unfinished"
Did you take a break and have a better art style when you came back because you practiced? AI. "The only way you can increase your skill without decades of effort is AI"
You can be good, you can be bad. No matter what, someone will accuse you of using AI.
Best proof of that : You can draw what I find are the closest anatomically correct genitals of all artists I know.
AI can't do that. An I doubt they can do that in a near future, as they lack the amount of data needed to do that.
Don't listen to these bullshiters.
