Can not disable FA artists ad

I thought by subscribing to FA+ I could disable all the ads including the FA artist ones, but I guess it does not work that way.
I don’t mind still supporting the website $5/mo, but sometimes the FA artist ad are just too distracting (that’s what ads are for tho), and it’s quite annoying.
I guess I’ll just hide them with my Safari browser (shrugs).
