An Open Letter To Campbells Soups

From Chris, your BACON-opinionated pangolin:
Dear Mr. Bennett Dorrance of Campbells Soups:
When I was growing up, Campbells Soups -were- part of my childhood. Tomato soup and grilled cheese, chicken and noodle soup and many others were my go-tos if I was feeling sick, or sad, or if I just wanted to have something filling to get through my day.
I appreciate the fact that your company branched out and now has ownership of Pepperidge Farms, Swansons and Prego. What I do NOT appreciate is that now, your company is using "processed artificial meat" and other ingredients that I can't even pronounce, and that a good bit of your company has Blackrock invested in you as well.
Yes, I will also grant you that this is more of a "sign of the times" where just about everything food-wise has been processed, manipulated, bio-chemicaled, gene-spliced, flavor-enhanced and Maker knows what else - that for all intents and purposes, cannot be anything healthy to our own bodies, not to mention to our children as well.
However, your company should know better. YOU should know better. But perhaps your profits smelled better than what you've actually put into the soup.
Honestly, its not too late to change course; and in doing so, you can make profit there as well - make a line with all-natural ingredients and REAL chicken, beef or etc...
Until then, methinks I'll stick to something that -I- made and not something that a machine blurped out and thinks that I will actually eat it, thank you but NO thank you very much.
Sincerely yours
Chrismukkah

Not to say that canned and premade foods haven’t lost quality over the years. Because they have, but this is unlikely part of it and is likely just an angry rant
Corporations do not care about you, they care about money. Stop buying their stuff. This is how we speak to corporations. They're not people, they're greed entities that make pacts, and we must break these pacts.
Don't FUCK WITH THE AIR, FOOD, WATER!!! EVER!!!
That's as polite as I can put it.
So yeah, basically the claims of artificial meat were a load of horseradish coming from an unhinged, disgruntled employee who is in no way an authority on how the soup is made nor the voice of the company's view of the poor or minorities.
I would still recommend keeping a close eye on the ingredients, however!
THISI -HAVE- Quit you.
I make my own CHK'N Noooooodyl
Someone else makes mah toe-May-toe.
If I want 'chunky' or 'rustic', I let ASD parents do the cooking.
As Linux put it so eloquently a few years back: "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better (and faster, and cheaper, and healthier and with less allergens, and with customized flavor profile, and with fewer/no GMO's, and , and, and....."
Lit., I can't even get these when they're on sale now.
The thing that bugs me the most about this post is, ....it's true.
