The Black Letters Scandal (Worldbuilding)

On summer of 2016, ZPD lieutenant Judyth Adah Hopps sent 2.6 terabytes of documents to national news outlets in her native Zostania.
The documents enumerated a list of crime coverups, corruption and injustices made by the then-president Michael Kelso both before and during his presidency.
Some of these crimes included the coverup of occupational violence during the time he was the CEO of an automobile company called Verrstrom, one incident involving the death of an employee at the hands of another employee fueled by specieal reasons. The incident had been covered from the public, the family of the victim not approached and the culprit evaded arrest or investigation.
Also, the documents showed that the Kelso platform during elections contacted a team of hackers from the University of Drama in Greece to take advantage of a blackout durin vote count to tilt the advantage for Kelso AND that he covertly jumped over international trade prohibitions and sold components for the Russian and Turkish armies.
Many other events were numbered on the documents, but the leak was big enough to cause a commotion like never before in Zostania. Protests erupted against Michael Kelso across the country, the International Criminal Court opened an investigation and so it started the historical period known as "The Crisis".
The reason the documents were called "the Black Letters" its because of being both sent through electronic mail and because the software used to de-encrypt them had a black UI display which was how it appeared to many outlets as they read them.
