It's been a helluva Thanksgiving. Noonish yesterday we got a call from my wife's sister in Logan, Utah. Their mother was in the ER with some kind of breathing problem. Awhile later, we got another call with the bad news: Traci's mom was dead. She'd apparently choked to death on some turkey. Yes, they tried the Heimlich.

We'd been planning to fly out to Logan to be with Traci's mom for Yule. Now it seems we'll be flying out for the funeral. And we just got back from her dad's funeral! I know Murphy never sleeps, but God DAMMIT!
