So I've been thinking about re-opening commissions for a while...and truthfully, I'm extremely anxious to do so. I won't go into the why's but it's left me with an idea I can do as a compromise.

Opening commissions to far limited slots than usual may be the best option for me in this position, BUT an idea that a handful of people have already experimented with is the concept of a "wing-it" commission. Essentially, you just give me the character(s), let me know what you DON'T want me to do, and just let me create something. I'd probably ask for a tiny bit more detail than that, but that would be the gist of it.

I'd personally like to do them as only shaded pieces, BUT I'd likely have them be cheaper, about $60 base price rather than the $75, where you have far more control over what you ask for.

People know what this page is primarily about, they'd know what they're getting into. Bondage, tickling, maybe a bit of sexual play/edging on the very rare occasion, I feel this is what most people may ask for anyway.

I guess the main point in this journal is to gauge interest in the concept. I have the most fun when I'm allowed to just do whatever with a character, but I can also understand some people may have a laser focused concept they want that may be outside the scope of what I usually do, and that's why I may still open the usual comms, just far more limited.

Even if you have no idea in commissioning a wing-it comm, if the idea still seems appealing to you, you can let me know. If this sounds stupid as all heck or you'd rather I stop taking commissions and start doing requests then that's also okay! Doesn't mean I'll do it but the input always helps!
