John Carpenters The Thing [Spoiler alert if you haven't watched it yet]
It was really good
Especially the beginning
When the Norwegians were chasing that "Dog" Trying to shoot it
But the thing is
The dog ran
Gracefully, Calmly
And in the screen time it had
It didn't bark ONCE
And in the camp it was observing
Like actively looking around
Unnatural dog behaviour
Because it was a thing!
IT WAS A HORRIFYING FLESHY MONSTER

But to be real
The movie was a big blood bath
Loved the practical effects
That's why it gets a 9,4/10 from me
The Prequel
The Thing from 2011
Was alright
Its a good prequel
And I like how everything adds up with the first movie
Especially the end
But the thing that's wrong with it
Imo
Is just the use of CGI
Instead of practical effects
I like Practical effects
And when I'm used to those
It makes CGI look really shitty and make me go 🤮
Like bweh..
But the Prequel gets a 8/10 from me.
