so. christmas was decent, new years rather sucked (rorie got an ear infection ON New Year's Eve, and dylan came down with a fever the same day, and threw up at 2 am with a 102.2F temp...) and i am currently "looking forward" to an obscenely hectic week, followed by shooting myself in the foot. joyous occasion. the reasoning? thursday,january 7th, i get on a plane for WA at 10:20am(but have to be at the airport at 7 cuz of retards). and i land at 1:45pm.these means monday and tuesday will be spent running about like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to get all my shit together, and wednesday will be spent doing laundry and packing, and any spare time will be spent hunting down people in so cal and forcing them to spend time with me. whether they want to or not just then. thursday is allll travel. and food. goodnews? i gets ta see mah hubbie agin! and the inlaws. but mostly hubbie <3.
and the shooting in the foot after?
.....remember that time i told you about my shitty $60 tablet that Hanvon says (but not on the box or anywhere you can access BEFORE buying) is the only one they make that DOESN'T have pressure sensitivity? it does. you've been seeing the results of this since january. BUT. it has pressure sensitivity on exactly 1/3rd of all computers tried on. a total of 6 computers: 3 macs, 3 windows. 6 installations of the driver: 3 download 3 from the disc. it works on one mac(disc install. Dad's laptop.) and one PC (download install. Donna's Desktop). see the problem? we can't find ANYTHING supplying a reason why it works just fine on two but not on the other 4, and the two it works on aren't mine. the latter i don't have access to any more, the former i won't have access to as of thursday morning. furthermore, i will simultaneously lose photoshop.
