Had a very melancholy surge of 'oh wow, it's December...' Start of this year was a sort of living Hell with Herbie's health issues, and being housebound from Jan to April due to that. But around May things turned up, got better and even stayed better. Got to see my favorite band since I was 8 in concert during summer, got to see my best friends get married at a gorgeous wedding in the fall, got to help my mom recover from her knee surgery. I'm okay with my current art level but I've already starting working on resolutions for how to grow my art and my freelancing more in '26, as I need to work to maintain my effort...and I really feel I need to grow in skill. I hope with the raise in prices it will help me feel more comfortable shedding my part timers so I CAN actually be focused on art and not so much 'grinding to survive.' Hell, I'd love to have free time to finish that damn httyd comic and get it colored and posted.

With that being said-- commissions are opening for the last time in 2025. Break starts on December 20th for me, so I while I will do my absolute best to get commissions finished before vacation, I'm sure realistically there will be some pieces going into the New Year. Quotes for this month will be honored should it happen that someone gets a slot on, say, December 19th or something. I never know what to expect with slots filling haha, so just wanna be upfront about that ^^
