Namely I struggle with texturing the most surprisingly. I know how to make custom models, kitbash, rig, and weight paint them. But texture painting? I honestly struggle a ton with. They always look so clay-like and flat. I am sure shading would help, but I am not sure how to do that properly on a 3D model. That is what has been slowing me down the most is the texturing part.
I cannot figure out how to add Normals, Metallics, Height, and Roughness maps properly without something screwing up. Ugh.
Mini rant over. If someone knows a good tutorial about how to do these things, that'd be great.
