Don't do it first. Do it better.
Someone left a couple of incredibly validating comments on Count Your Blessings the other day asking me to describe Arthur's character some more, namely how he feels about losing his voice. That says volumes to me as a writer when someone sees my characters how I try to write them: As people who do what they do because they're shaped by their life experiences, not because someone at a keyboard said so.
I asked them to give me a day to think about how to put it into words, but told them how validated it made me feel. I noticed they'd only been on DA for about one day, which is odd, but it actually read like a comment written by a human being who could put more than two words together, which is also encouraging.
Especially considering something about CYB has attracted a lot of spammers asking me to buy a commission, which is a huge pissoff, so this was like a cool breeze on a summer day.
Today, I checked on it to see that they'd already deleted their account and the comments were marked as spam. Meaning, they'd also disappeared.
If you wanted to punch me in the heart, all you had to do was try to get me to buy a commission again, you didn't have to kick me in the emotional nuts too.

Jfc... why -n-; this is why we need MORE regulation on AI instead of less.

I don't even think this was AI this time, they actually responded to me by staying on topic and not being vague or generic at all.
Wow.... well.. what the hell >:\ What douchey behavior regardless

And I'm not sure if that makes it better or worse.
I'm with you there. On the one hand, at least it was a real person. I'm fast sick and tired of all this automated easy-fast-profit insanity that our current so-called "leader" is deliberately making worse - but I digress. On the other hand, I'm disgusted by this inexplicably rude behavior.
