Update for KOSA plus 18 internet bills! IMPORTANT!+ (Update)

KOSA and all age verification bills in this 19 Internet Bill Package passed the subcommittee. They are now heading to the full committee in one week's time for the House to vote!
If you were not loud before, it's time to get loud now. There is still a week to oppose this. There's a chance they rush these bills through it, so please, CALL YOUR HOUSE REPS AND TELL THEM TO OPPOSE EVERY SINGLE ONLINE SAFETY BILL, NOT JUST KOSA!
Tell them to say:
—NO to KOSA, and NO to all the bills in this package!
—Do NOT repeal Section 230
—NO to online Digital ID Laws
—NO to Age Verification Laws

Tell your house representatives to oppose all of these bills and laws! When contacting your Republican, and Democratic party, insure that you contact them as a Republican and Democrat for each side appropriately, to insure they understand the danger and oppose the KOSA Bill and the other Internet Bills! Keep your comments polite as possible as congress is meant to serve US the PEOPLE. However we cannot let apathy and anger control how we speak. But we have a mass calling to your rep to make every voice matter here! Spread the word out as well in twitter, bluesky, and other sites to inform more of the dangers of these bills!

Also to add, these are what we hope needs to be implemented and you can tell that to your Rep and Dem if you wish on the dedication in protecting children.
- ISPS and tech companies need to educate clients/customers/consumers on their parental control features.
If they don't have any make sure they do and are easy to use. The companies can make contracts to ensure the parents have been told about the controls. They must also do this when any parent buys a phone, Tablet, or Device.
- MANDATORY online safety classes to avoid fraud, malware, hackers, and seeing content that offends them. Educate the masses and we'll have less incidents. This should apply to elementary, jr.high, high-school and collage. No classes, No Funding.
- Pass anti-data collection laws on ALL users. If there's no data to exploit that will keep users safe, and for data bases to delete personal info if they have any before these laws became a thing.

Our internet freedom is at stake and we want to make sure they understand what is at stake here, and what these bills will risk stripping away: Our Rights and Freedoms online, our privacy, anonymity, and the 1st Amendment! Most importantly, we urge them to not risk giving up personal information of our children for the sake of "Protecting" them. Nor we want to give up information from adults or civilians alike at the hands of big tech or dangerous strangers.
So I ask, How will this protect kids, if they force them and everyone involved to upload all their government and personal information to the same Big Tech companies you want to protect them from? How is giving Mark Zuckerberg, or any billionaire the private data of millions of minors across the country protecting them? How does that make sense? There are 19 separate bills on this in the package that most people never even heard of, and is dangerous to all!
On top of that, KOSA is part of this bill, which is influenced and related to the UK's Online Safety act. How is Big Tech against this if they, like many others all support it? Any state attorney and lawyer can sue any website for "harmful" content. Do we want to give Trump and the administration that power? That is why they and the rich support KOSA and the other bills in this package. This is a massive government overreach and corporate ruling. We need a bill that actually protects children by creating better security measures instead of more censorship and surveillance. We need a bill that gives parental guidelines and rules to parents with children under 18 to insure they are kept safe from harm when giving them phones, tablets, and such devices.
What parent would want their child's private data in the hands of strangers, government officials, big tech or worse, and have them be monitored and put in terrible risk? Do NOT support this package, and do NOT support KOSA and these other bills! Thank you!
